Alumni of the Master of Design program at the Faculty of Arts and Design, Universitas Trisakti, Jennifer Agrilla was chosen to be one of the fashion designers at the Spotlight 2023 event held at Pos Bloc on November 17, 2023. A member of the 2021 cohort, she was among the 100 designers participating in the event aimed at celebrating a better world of fashion. Participants included individuals from fashion schools, artisans, and renowned designers.

In this event, Jennifer Agrilla showcased fashion works stemming from her thesis research during her time at the Master of Design program at the Faculty of Arts and Design, Universitas Trisakti. The title of Jennifer’s fashion work was “Madd’a Lodd’o, Sevunese Ikat by Ice Tede Dara.” Aligned with this year’s Spotlight theme, “Culture: Then and Now,” Jennifer exhibited works inspired by a blend of tradition and modern creativity.

Spotlight is an annual fashion event presented by the Indonesia Fashion Chamber (IFC), held at Pos Bloc Jakarta from November 16 to 18, 2023. Spotlight aims to promote Indonesia as a global destination for sustainable ready-to-wear fashion products. This year, Spotlight featured various events including fashion shows, exhibitions, sustainable fashion installations, talk shows, and workshops.
